It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.

10th Anniversary Alumni Reunion

Nearly 150 celebrants joined Founder and Head of School Marisa Di Carlo D'Alessandro on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Toronto to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Canadian College Italy - The Renaissance School.

Former students and former and current staff were present to recognize this milestone in the life of the school which began in 1995 with Janette Doupe as its first principal. Marisa D'Alessandro, along with Janette and Jack Doupe, and current principal Geoffrey Smith and his wife Ginny, shared stories and lots of laughter during the afternoon and reminisced about the school's early days as well as its recent history.

Guests reviewed yearbooks, student newsletters and photos from their year(s) at CCI and watched a slide presentation. Good food abounded. Everyone joined Marisa as she raised a glass of prosecco to toast the school as it begins its second decade.

Auguri!
